Kad se 2001. godine Angelina Jolie u uskoj majici i vrućim hlačicama pojavila na velikom filmskom platnu, u ulozi Lare Croft, muškarcima diljem svijeta zastao je dah.

U najnovijoj verziji filma o fiktivnoj britanskoj junakinji iz video igrica, Angelinu je zamijenila Alicia Vikander, 29-godišnja glumica iz Švedske koja je filmske kritičare osvojila glumom u filmovima "The Danis Girl", "The man from U.N.C.L.E." i "Ex Machina".
