Radi se o crvenom tepihu sa zadatkom. Naime, svake godine određuje se tema i od svih uzvanika očekuje da se odjenu u skladu s njom. Ove godine tražio se avangardni stil, s obzirom na to da je večera bila posvećena japanskoj dizajnerici Rei Kawakubo, ali čini se da su mnoge zvijezde odlučile ignorirati propisani dress code i jednostavno igrale na što upečatljivije, prozirnije i odvažnije. Ipak, bilo je iznimaka i one su se upravo zbog toga našle na brojnim listama najbolje odjevenih. Neupitna pobjednica večeri bila je pjevačica Rihanna, koja je još jednom pokazala da može nositi baš svaku kreaciju.
